Preston and Marcus had planned everything meticulously for their South of France dream wedding. Having been together for 18 years, they knew exactly what each of them wanted. In other words, Marcus wanted Preston to be happy and Preston wanted the day to be perfect.
Dazzling Destination Wedding in the South of France
South of France has this palpable film star quality. Imagine: effortless charm, elegance and artfully crumbling beauty are all carefully thought through and maintained. South of France makes you feel like you are a part of an exclusive club. Destination wedding in the South of France is bound to be charming, classy, elegant and seemingly effortless. This approach suits my personality and my style of photography perfectly. You can plan everything before your wedding day. Except for the weather, of course! And on the day – you enjoy every minute of it and embrace whatever comes your way. Sunshine or the storm!
The day started with a plan to have the wedding ceremony on the sunlit terrace of the exclusive Chateau Eza overlooking 180 degrees of the azure Mediterranean sea. Unfortunately, the reality of was the rouge storm enveloped the whole of the Cote d’Azur that day. Can you imagine the unfairness of it!! However, after playing the waiting game it was decided that love and a good party can solve all the problems. The lovely Gemma from The Beautiful Words filled the private ceremony with joyful warmth. Tears of happiness and Champagne corks couldn’t hold it any longer. In addition, unexpected fireworks at the nearby Cap Ferrat provided the fitting strat to an evening party!
In very insightful words of the ZankYou editor – Marcus and Preston’s style was bold and characterful. Bursting with colour and glitter, the wedding party was entertained by the incredibly well-dress Drag Queen. This was one very classy wedding! Ant to top it all, it was a masterclass in how to make your wedding your own.
Secret to a successful destination wedding in the South of France?
Both Preston and Marcus felt that their wedding was perfect. And that is despite the weather playing havoc with their plans.
It’s the people who you choose to invite to celebrate with you who make your day special. As you choose to surround yourself with people who truly mean everything to you – nothing else matters! Above all, make sure you have a team of fabulous professionals who understand you and have the skills and attitude to do everything that your wedding is a success! The team Chateau Eza lead by Diana was brilliant.
Marcus and Preston thank you so much for inviting me into your world and entrusting your wedding memories to me. You and your friends were incredible!
