Chester Zoo wedding photos

There is no doubt that Chester Zoo is a magical place to get married in. And I am sure you can understand why it’s so exciting to be a Chester Zoo wedding photographer. To start with, you get to have lions and red pandas sitting within 50 meters of you during your wedding ceremony! On top of that, you will have the rest of the animal kingdom – more than 20000 animals to share your wedding day!

It would be quite impossible to see all of the Chester Zoo animals.  However, with some advice and planning you will see some of the most iconic ones. I will even get them to pose with you!!

Have you been on a safari before? Chester Zoo offers safari tours and they are great! Be prepared to see your favourite animals. I will make sure that there are plenty of great pictures!

Wedding barns vs Chester zoo animal barns

There are plenty of various barns at the Chester Zoo… most of them used as sleeping quarters for animals.  The venue for your ceremony and reception is a Victorian mansion with fancy brickwork and gables. The Oakfield House offers an exclusive use. The many beautiful rooms of the manor house and the always-surrounded-by-flowers terrace gives you and your guests a chance to feel relaxed and find the best place to enjoy the day. It offers a  quiet room to catch up with a long-time-no-see family member.  A lively room with a band providing the entertainment can have a separate room. The stunning formal room where tea, cakes and spectacular view over the oriental gardens allows you to soak up the atmosphere of the day.

The setting of your wedding breakfast room is provided by the lovely Alex from Alex Bell Styling  . And of course, your own imagination  Would you like to know how to make those silver animal figures place card holders? I am sure Lawrie and Tom will not mind me sharing their know-how!! Just let me know   The beautiful table setting ideas with hessian and ditsy print napkins from Sam and Dan’s wedding, which was featured on Brides Up North blog here.
